Colorado Trail Foundation Announcements for Adopters

Annual Adopters Duties:

• Clear fallen trees - early trail season soon after snow melts to make way for trail users
• Clean water diversions - sometime during trail season to prevent tread erosion
• Communicate to CTF/AAT Coordinator - as needed and requested, including submitting reports

Adopters - Thanks for your efforts to keep The Colorado Trail passable and in good condition. Your work is crucial to keeping the Trail and the CTF truly appreciates you accepting your responsibility and getting your work done. Thank you.

Please keep in close communication with our Adopt-A-Trail Volunteer Coordinator, Janat Farrar. She connects with the CTF office frequently and we collaborate as needed.

On this website under Trip Planning > Trail Resources by Segment is a place for "Unusual Trail Condition Updates" in each trail segment. If, on your trail section, you see something extraordinary that users should know about, please report to the CTF office so that we can post to the website. Thanks.
