From August 1 through August 5, 2022, a trail work project that will involve ATVs, trucks, and tractors will be taking place between the Marshall Pass and Silver Creek trailheads (click here to see a map of the work area). Motorcycles and mini excavators will also be in use for this project. Trail spotters will be in place on both sides of the heavy machinery to alert trail users when the machinery will be in use.
This work is in cooperation with OHV State Trails and the Central Colorado Mountain Riders Club and it will support hand crews in the area during this time and later in September and into the 2023 season. This work will greatly improve the area which currently has large areas of standing water.
