Bigboy 2000 Saw
$64.95There are folding saws and then there is the Bigboy 2000.
Longer than most other folding saws, yet it still fits nicely in most day packs. With a blade length of over 14 inches, the Bigboy offers a larger cutting capacity, extended reach, and longer stroke. The curved blade is seriously sharp, made of high quality, chrome-plated steel, and the XL teeth ensure super speedy cutting. This saw can cut large limbs, small trunks and even many of the fallen trees that block the trail. Lightweight for its size, it weighs just 1.25lb. It has a grippy rubber-clad, thick aluminum handle and a superb blade locking mechanism that offers 2 blade positions for versatility. If you might need to cut bigger material than what an average length folding saw can handle, the Bigboy 2000 is a “must have.”
Day travelers especially like to pack this saw so they can contribute to maintaining and clearing The Colorado Trail.
- Blade Length 14.2″
- Teeth Per Inch – 5.5
- Cut Capacity – 7.1″
- Folded Length – 15.8″
- Open Length Overall – 30.1″
