Crew Leader Report

Crew Leaders must submit this completed form after each crew. Your timely completion of this report is vital to our maintenance program. This information is needed;

  • to thank volunteers;
  • to plan and execute future volunteer labors;
  • to compile accurate reporting for the US Forest Service; and
  • for grant applications and insurance purposes.

This is a two-page form. The second page has a form for listing the volunteers. Also, the form allows you to save your work and continue it later. Thank you for the extra time you took to be a leader and steward for The Colorado Trail!!!

  • Please list anyone that was on your crew roster that did not attend the crew.
  • List any individuals that showed potential to be a future Crew Leader, Crew Cook, or Squad Leader. Please provide the name and explain why you think so.
  • # of feet of tread upgraded, # of culverts installed, length and type of water crossings built, # of feet of new tread constructed, etc.
  • Please be as descriptive as possible, including location. This can help plan future crews, etc.
  • Crew members that went above and beyond assisting crew leader, fell ill, didn't take direction, etc.
  • Please let us know about any missing tools, broken equipment, information you wish you knew ahead of time, or anything else you'd like us to know about this crew.
