The material that appears on Coloradotrail.org is for informational purposes only. Despite our efforts to provide useful and accurate information, errors may appear from time to time. Before you act on information you’ve found on our site, you should confirm any facts that are important to your decision.

What does Colorado Trail Foundation (CTF) do with your personal information?

CTF respects your right to privacy. We do not sell, exchange or give away our constituents’ email addresses or phone numbers.

When you provide your email or postal address to CTF on any online or printed material, it is implied that your are opting in to receive communications from us.

What happens when I donate?

CTF database does not store credit card information. Some details of your contribution (amount, date of donation, fund) will be viewable by you and CTF staff on the “Contributions” tab of your contact record.

CTF can process anonymous donations, too.

When will CTF contact you?

Communications may include enewsletters and fundraising solicitations. All emails from CTF include appropriate opt-out links, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

CTF sends direct mail to mailing lists twice per year, you may opt out by contacting us at any time.

What happens when I visit coloradotrail.org?

Our web server automatically collects limited information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our site. (Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data – such as the web pages you view.) Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to deliver our web pages to you upon request and to measure traffic.

Cookies are used to make our site function.

 

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

 

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

 

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
